Aerial Camera Systems And Helilink
Aerial Camera Systems and Helilink understand the importance of teamwork. A high standard of aerial filming depends on the relationship between the pilot and the camera operator. Each requires an understanding of what the other is capable of, as the pilot takes as much control of the camera as the operator does.
Thousands of hours experience between the two companies, from technicians to ground staff, engineers, pilots and operators, all helps ensure we hit our mark every time.
Helilink are New Zealand's premier helicopter company and recognised leaders in the art of aerial photography, so ACS are proud to team up with them to provide you with outstanding aerial filming possibilities.
Aerial Camera Systems And The Gyron
To broaden its stabilised platform base and to meet the exacting requirements of its clients, ACS has recently purchased the Gyron 935 system. This system developed by Bob Nettman and his Gyron team has exceeded all expectations and provides ACS with the world's most state of the art gyro-stabilised mount.
Never before has a system existed that has given directors a genuine stabilised roll axis close to 180° in scope. The system can either be inverted or supported and can be controlled via a telemetry link.
ACS has always listened to its clients' demands and is now very proud to be able to supply what it believes to be the most versatile gyro-stabilised mount, a mount that is very much at the forefront of technology.
The Gyron has successfully re-written the rules of gyro-stabilisation.
The Americas Cup And The Gyron
Available in New Zealand for the first time, the Gyrons are already proving their worth as the one stop solution for the Louis Vuitton Challenger Series and Americas Cup Television coverage.
Two airborne mounts and two marine mounts are providing hitherto unseen angles of the yachts in action from the air and from the water. The Gyron's design allows it to provide incredibly smooth images on the roughest days and in the most extreme conditions.
For all the punishment the systems receive daily out on the Hauraki Gulf, to still be in perfect working condition, is a testament to their strength of design and the skill of the ACS technicians who maintain them.
All these factors add up to previously diehard Wescam operators finding the Gyron to be their new system of choice. If you're looking for the best, there is simply no better choice.
The Future...
We look forward to providing you with the service that has given us our unparalleled reputation across the globe.
